Summer Art Sessions

Inspired by the "Color our World" summer reading program...
"Color our Pueblo World" this summer by joining one of the library’s summer art sessions. Sessions will consist of smaller class sizes to allow for more instructor to student learning.
Space is Limited – Join the Lottery!*
Art sessions are for Santa Ana Pueblo community members.
Registration closes May 16, 2025 for sewing DAY classes.
Registration closes May 19, 2025 for belt weaving class.
Registration for other classes closes on May 22, 2025.
Session Details:
- Up to 5 weeks of sessions (depending on class). Pueblo dress sewing will be a one-time day class.
- Session timeframe: May 19, 2025 - June 25, 2025.
- Each class has a different schedule.
- First day of class will cover class schedule, attendance, materials/supplies, prep work, and transition into the crafting.
Class Information:
- Belt weaving
- Tuesdays & Thursdays 5:30pm to 8:30pm
- First class starts May 27
- Instructor: Edwin Herrera / Cochiti
- Location: Library
- Sewing, Pueblo dresses, Intermediate-level DAY class, (students can register for ONE day class).
- Monday, May 19 from 9am to 4pm
- Friday, May 30 from 9am to 4pm
- Students will need to bring their own fabric, ribbon, lace for this class.
- You may bring your own sewing machine if you prefer.

- First class starts June 10, 2025
- Last week of class will be Monday/Wednesday.

- Sewing for Beginners
- Tuesdays & Thursdays 1pm-3pm
- First class starts June 3, class ends June 12 (4 sessions total)

- Location: Library
